DURATION: Approximately 8 hours
The Dry Suit Course is for Certified Open Water Scuba Divers who would like to explore Sitka 's beautiful underwater environment while continuing their Dive education. This is an all day excursion and course includes book, video, class work, pool session, rental gear, two open water dives, and PADI Dry suit certification card. Dive sites are selected based on diver experiences, tides, and weather. Guests are accompanied in the water by a certified dive masters who enjoy sharing their knowledge and love of the area. Sitka waters are well known throughout the world for its abundant marine life and vivid colors. Guests can expect to see a variety of sea life including sea stars, sun stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, crabs, and a variety of fish, filter feeders, and kelp. Guests are provided a dry suit and all dive gear. Comfortable clothes for this excursion are recommended. Safe storage for personal items and areas to change into the dry suit gear are available.
