 Whether you are an avid hiker or would like to leisurely explore the world's largest temperate rain forest, Sitka provides unlimited opportunities for all levels of experience. From hiking local city trails to exploring remote islands, we hope to give you the ultimate Alaskan hiking experience. Our regularly schedule trips are below and include  excursions for those who are more interested in learning about the rain forest as well as trips that will provide a beautiful environment while getting the exercise your body craves. All guides are well versed in local history, culture, flora and fauna, and the unique environment of the temperate rain forest. Wildlife is typically seen on all trips and bear safety orientations are provided before each excursion. For custom trips please see the I Want It All section.
