This tour is for photographers, both serious and aspiring, who desire to photograph parts of Sitka rarely seen by visitors. Join our experienced Southeast Alaska photographer for a three hour customized Sitka Photography Tour . Possible sights include wild flowers, berry bushes, alpine forest regions, and salmon spawning streams in season. Other viewing opportunities may include tide pools, boat harbors, muskegs, estuaries, beaches, small lakes, eagle's nests, and more. Together guests and guide will determine photography locations according to weather, season, and group interest. Guest photographers will explore the Tongass National Forest , the largest temperate rain forest in the world. Our guests can also expect to learn about the flora, fauna, and history of the Tongass. The total tour time is three hours. A complimentary Theobroma chocolate bar is provided. Transportation is provided by private van. This tour goes rain or shine. Depending on the locations to be visited, some access to alpine and other areas may require exertion. Guests should prepare themselves and their equipment for inclement weather.
